OVID TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – The driver of a Coldwater Community School special education bus was injured Tuesday morning when a pickup truck crashed into the bus at the intersection of Central and Block Roads.
There were no students on bus number 37 at the time of the crash which took place just after 6:00 a.m..
First reports indicate the pickup truck driver disregarded the stop sign and t-boned the bus.
The driver of the bus suffered an injured hand.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the crash.
Parents of the students who take that bus were notified by school officials about the crash and arrangements had to be made for alternate transportation.
