Marion Rose Curtiss, 94, of Quincy, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at home surrounded by her family.
A graveside service for Marion Rose Curtiss will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 12 noon at Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy with Pastor Mark Case officiating.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11:00 a.m.-12 noon at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
She was born on November 25, 1926 in Melrose Park, Illinois to Enrico and Gabriella (Chiero) Misitano. On October 14, 1946, Marion married Richard Curtiss and he preceded her in death in 1979.
Marion was a member of the Quincy American Legion Auxiliary Post 157. She enjoyed playing Scrabble, crossword puzzles, swimming, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Marion is survived by two daughters, Kathleen (Jack) Bellamy of Quincy, Janet (Daniel) Cooper of Alabama; one sister, Carmella Macino of Melrose Park, IL; four grandchildren, Lindsey Bellamy, Bryan (Abby) Bellamy, Jennifer (Shane) Frost, Richard Cooper and many great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Richard, Marion was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Mary Sue Giuffre, Gracie Urso; four brothers, Don Pasqurella, Ralph Pasqurella, Tony Misitano, Johnny Misitano and two grandchildren; Danny Cooper Jr. and Laura Minyard.
Memorial contributions are suggested to ProMedica Coldwater Hospice or the American Red Cross.
