COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch Area Food Pantry will return to indoor operating procedures this coming Tuesday, October 26.
They have been delivering food boxes each week to client vehicles for the past 19 months because of the COVID-19 Pandemic which has pushed volunteers and the budget to the limit.
Prior to the Pandemic, clients could only receive a food box once every two months.
Clients will be able to shop on Tuesday’s from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., once a month, to select food items which best meet their family’s needs.
Each client will be designated one Tuesday per month to select their food.
Pantry cards and proof of residence will be required during check in. Clients may pick up for other clients as long as they have their Pantry card. Numbers will not be accepted.
Masks will also be required inside the Pantry.
