EVART MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Ice Mountain bottling plant has a new owner, and that company has announced it will not be increasing the amount of water taken from its Osceola County well.
BlueTriton Brands has informed the federal government that they will not utilize a permit that allowed them to pump 400 gallons a minute, but instead will continue to pump the current 288 gallons per minute.
Staying at the current amount will prevent the company from having to conform to certain environmental monitoring rules.
