BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The soggy weather of October continues to hang around.
The Michigan State University Extension Service weather station at the Bloom Dairy Farm west of Coldwater has measured over two inches of rain since midday on Sunday which brought the total for the month of October up to 6.35 inches.
In addition, that location has measured 10.24 inches of rain since September 22.
The Branch County Road Commission reported on Monday morning that Gorbell Road between Jonesville and Bidwell Roads was closed due to high water.
Branch County was included in a Flood Watch that covered the border counties as well as northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio but it has since been lifted.
