Karon D. Grove, 56, of Coldwater, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021 at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.
A memorial service will be held Monday, November 1, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Dave Anderson officiating.
Visitation will be held, prior to the service, beginning at 3:30 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home. The live service may also be viewed at www.dutcherfh.com at the scheduled time.
Interment of ashes will be at Knauss Cemetery.
Karon was born April 17, 1965 in Grand Rapids, MI. She was adopted at a young age by her parents Ralph and Dorothy (McDonald) Grove.
Karon was currently working at Rainbow Motor Sales in Coldwater. She had formerly worked for the Coldwater Community Schools with their in-school suspension program and doing nails at the former Eurotan/Hair it is Salon. Karon belonged to the Coldwater Jaycees, served as a 4H Leader for Odds and Ends and played pool in a league. She enjoyed camping and most of all spending time with her son.
Karon is survived by her son Devon Burdette of Coldwater, her step grandchildren Zeek & Maybelline, her cousin Shannon Newling of Coldwater; former husband James Burdette of Tecumseh, her companion Tom Saltsgiver of Quincy, and his children Tish Saltsgiver and Sam Gripman both of Coldwater.
She was preceded in death by both parents and her brother Michael Grove.
