COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Burnside Center’s Veterans Day program will be back this year. It will be held on Wednesday, November 10 at 10:00 a.m. in the Burnside Center’s dining room.
All senior veterans in Branch County are encouraged to attend along with those who wish to honor them.
Host Bob Betts will be assisted by the American Legion Color Guard, the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Donna Green who will provide some musical entertainment.
Guest speaker Dave Keeton will talk about his work on the “Military Working Dog” commemorative postage stamp.
The Burnside Center’s Wall of Heroes will return, displaying pictures of Branch County service members from all eras. All veterans in attendance will receive a goodie bag.

The Burnside Center was unable to hold their annual Veterans Day event last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, a tribute video was created highlighting members of their “Wall of Heroes”.
