COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings wrapped up the regular season Wednesday night as they split a couple of matches at the Coldwater Mini Quad meet.
Bronson lost to Parma Western three games to one by scores of 25-19, 19-25, 20-25 20-25 and defeated Jackson Northwest three games to nothing by scores of 25-10, 25-16, 25-21.
Bronson Coach Jean LaClair said, “It was a great warm-up for districts, Parma Western is a great defensive team who kept a lot of balls in play and forced us to step up and we played pretty good defense as well. Our offense was very diverse.”

The Vikings will face Union City on Monday night at 5:30 p.m. in the opening round of the M.H.S.A.A. girls volleyball district tournament at Quincy.
Coldwater dropped two matches to state-ranked teams in Division Four on Wednesday night as they also closed out the regular season.
They lost to third ranked Battle Creek St. Philip three games to nothing by scores of 25-14, 25-18 and 25-23. Coldwater also lost to tenth ranked Mendon three games to two by scores of 27-25, 26-24, 17-25, 22-25 and 14-16.
The Cardinals will play either Kalamazoo Loy Norrix or Sturgis in the Division One District semifinals at Battle Creek Central next Wednesday at 5:00 p.m..
