COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Community Foundation has announced who the recipients are of the 2021 Community Good Grant Cycle.
Over $31,000 was granted out to 10 different organizations and programs in Branch County and Colon. Funding for this year’s recipients was made possible by BCCF’s Forever Fund, the Early Childhood Investment Fund, the Irv and Kathy Harris Memorial Fund, the Faith Based Initiative Fund, the Colon Foundation Fund, and the Emergency Relief Fund through a partnership with Branch County United Way.
Three of the recipients who were able to receive full funding include Tommy’s House, Lakeland Readers are Leaders, and the Friends of the Colon Township Library.
Michigan WDI and the South Michigan Food Bank also received full funding through emergency relief funds that are held in a partnership with the Branch County United Way.
Recipients who received partial funding for their projects and programs include Starr Commonwealth for a project with Union City Schools, the Branch County Juvenile Court, the Branch District Library, Branch Pride and CAPA Council of Branch County and the Coach Eby Youth and Family Center.

Applications for the Community Good Grant Cycle are accepted throughout the month of August for projects and programs that directly benefit Branch County and/or Colon.
