UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – There will be no school on Tuesday in the Union City Community School District.
Union City Superintendent Chris Katz announced late Monday afternoon that this step was being taken due to a large number of staff members who are absent with illnesses.
Sports teams in season will still be allowed to practice at their regular time. The high school football team is getting ready for a district championship game this Friday night at Lawton.
There was no word as to when classes will resume in Union City.
It’s the second non-weather school closing in Branch County this week. St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School in Coldwater was closed on Monday.
