Carol Jean Wooster, 85, of Coldwater, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021 at her home.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater.
Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Carol was born December 5, 1935 in Wauseon, Ohio to Lloyd & Carrie (Cotter) Spangler. She married James A. Wooster on February 12, 1961 in West Unity, OH. He preceded her in death on February 22, 1978.
Mrs. Wooster worked at Dutch Uncle Donuts for many years, fondly referred to, by many as the “Donut Lady.” She later worked at the former Parkside Pharmacy in Coldwater. Carol attended St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and was an avid sport’s fan, especially for MSU, the Detroit Tigers, Pistons and Red Wings.
Carol is survived by her daughters Traci Wooster of Elgin, IL, Toni (John) Hooper of Rockvale, TN, her grandchildren Kassandra (Jarrett) Mercer of Columbia, TN, Alexander Hooper and Remington Hooper both of Murfreesboro, TN, several nephews and her first great granddaughter, Baby Mercer, due in April.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Teri Wooster and one nephew.
Memorials may be directed to the ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital Cancer Center.
