Karen Dianne Paul, 73 of Coldwater passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 at her home.
In following her wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will have a private graveside service at Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy at a later date. The family was cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Karen was born January 18, 1948 to Donald and Mable (Davis) in Hudson, MI. She was a 1966 graduate of Coldwater High School. On August 5, 1972 she married the love of her life, Lynn Paul. Together they created many memories, including owning Mancino’s of Coldwater from 1985 until retirement in 2016.
Karen enjoyed spending time reading, gardening, and playing the piano. She was a past member of the Sweet Adelines. Karen was very fond of her dogs and never turned down the chance at sitting around a campfire. She will be remembered for her loving, kind, and gentle spirit as well as being generous. Her true joy in life was being around her family, especially her grandchildren.
Karen is survived by her husband of 49 years, Lynn Paul; her children Jodi (Walter) Schultz, Jillane (Troi) Jones, and Aaron Paul all of Coldwater; her grandchildren Kaitlin (Valerie) Murray, Noah Murray, Rebeka, Ethan, Jonathan, and Claire Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Janice Martin; and her brother Roger Walkup.
Memorials may be directed to the Branch County Humane Society or the charity of one’s choice.
