EAST LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan State used an incredible 58-28 edge in rebounding on Friday to smash Western Michigan 90-46 at the Breslin Center.
MSU raced out to a 46-25 lead at halftime and continued to pour it on in the second half against the hopelessly outmatched Broncos. The Spartans shot 52 percent from the floor compared to Western’s frigid 27 percent shooting.
Gabe Brown led MSU with a game-high 17 points. Joey Hauser had 12 points and 12 rebounds. Marcus Bingham Junior also scored 12 points. Mack Smith led the Broncos with 13 points.
