ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – A pedestrian trail bridge over some wetlands near the Six Autumns Restaurant north of Angola was destroyed on Wednesday morning when a tanker truck drove onto it and crushed it.
It took place north of Angola off of State Road 127 near County Road 400 North.
The Herald Republican reported that according to the truck driver, his GPS device led him down the trail.
The newspaper also reported that the truck was hauling calcium chloride.
No injuries were reported. Crews were still trying to remove the truck on Wednesday night.
