DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Starting pitcher Justin Verlander will not return to the Detroit Tigers, at least for the next season.
According to his brother Ben Verlander, the former Detroit ace has agreed to a one-year deal worth $25 million with the Houston Astros.
He spent the last year recovering from Tommy John elbow surgery.
