Elizabeth Lorene Cox, 69, of Coldwater passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. Rev. Fr. Dan Hyman from St. Charles Catholic Church will officiate.
Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. As per her wishes, cremation will take place following the service and a private burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery on a later date.
Elizabeth was born May 17, 1952 to Charles and Elizabeth (Bitz) Cox in Coldwater. She married Robert Ryglewicz in Illinois on June 29, 1992. She retired from the American Dental Association Magazine there after an over 25-year career.
Known as ‘Beth’ or ‘Betty’ to those who loved her, she moved back to Coldwater to be closer to family following her retirement. Beth was also a woman of faith who believed in a higher power and her purpose in life. She loved with her whole heart, enjoyed helping anyone in need and was a stark supporter of animal rescue.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 29 years Robert Ryglewicz of Coldwater, her sister Geraldine Minniear of Tekonsha, her brothers Boyd Cox of Orland and Wayne Cox of Coldwater, her sister-in-law Patricia Cox of Coldwater a handful of nieces and nephews and her furry babies Brutus and Buddy B.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Ruth Ann and Charlene Cox, her brother Gerald Cox, her brother-in-law Paul Minniear and her sister-in-law Joanne Cox.
