COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Bronson man was ordered to serve a sentence of between 15 months and 15 years in the Michigan Department of Corrections on Monday in Branch County Circuit Court after he entered a guilty plea to a charge of third degree criminal sexual conduct.
22-year-old Adrian Ruben Santodomingo was given credit for 227 days already served in the Branch County Jail.
He admitted hit guilt on October 18 to the charge which was filed in connection with a June 2020 incident with a then 14-year-old girl.
In exchange for his guilty plea, prosecutors dismissed charges of possession of methamphetamine along with two counts of assaulting, resisting or obstructing a police officer.
The two resisting charges were filed after authorities said Santodomingo had to be physically removed by Michigan State Police from a van last April while he was being placed under arrest in Bronson.
