MSU running back Walker is a finalist for two national awards

EAST LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan State University junior running back Kenneth Walker III has been named a finalist for the Maxwell Award and the Doak Walker Award.

The Maxwell Award goes to the college player of the year while the Doak Walker Award is presented to the nation’s top running back.

In 11 games this season Walker has 1,498 yards and has rushed for 17 touchdowns.
