COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital announced on Monday they will be temporarily be adjusting the hours of operation for its outpatient laboratory effective on Monday, December 13, 2021.
The laboratory will be opened Monday through Friday between 6:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and will be closed on Saturdays.
Hospital officials say this change in service is in an effort to properly care for their emergency room and inpatients, due to tight laboratory staffing constraints.
They said in a statement released by ProMedica that they will continue to evaluate the situation to determine if regular hours can be reinstated.
Officials also apologized for any inconvenience this may cause.
