Genevieve Kriser, 96, of Coldwater, passed away Sunday. November 28, 2021, at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank the staff at Drews Assisted Living in Coldwater.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
She was born November 24, 1925, in Hillsdale to Arthur and Mable (Hart) Carpenter. She married Homer Kriser on June 1, 1946 and he preceded her in death on December 9, 2010.
Genevieve was retired from the Coldwater Hospital where she worked for many years in the housekeeping department. She loved square dancing and sewing. She also enjoyed traveling and was a member of the Good Sam Camping Club.
Survivors include her children, Larry (Linda) Kriser, Linda (Dave) Greenwalt, Leona Norton and Lowell Kriser; grandchildren, Brad Kriser, Lori (Barry) Parker, Julie (Reed) Daniels, Jennifer Stauffer, Shawn (Michelle) Kriser and Kristi Pelissier; and several brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Homer; and several brothers and sisters.
