Aileen was born April 17, 1929 in Hotspot, Kentucky, to her parents, Charlie Collins and Christina Ison. She moved to Michigan at a young age, calling it home for many years. Aileen loved the Lord. Her faith never faltered. She was active in church for most of her life. Her passion was to help people. She cared for the elderly, ministered to the homeless and prison inmates. She loved Southern gospel music. She loved to work in a garden. She was a great cook whose hands fed many over the years. There was always room for an extra plate. She loved her family and prayed for all of them every night.
She is survived by her six children: Louise (Clyde) Moore, Maurice Riddle, Linda (Crit) Jent, Rita (Warren) Neblett, Sharon (Mike) Smith and Bobby (Deanna) Riddle; and her 13 grandchildren: Shelly (Roger), Jason, David (Wendy), Shawn (Jane), Mikey, Melissa (Tim), Jamie (Kristi), Jeremy (Abbie), Matthew, Bethany, Rebecca (Brian), Myndi (Geralyn), Megan, Janyse and Lukas. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; her special friends, Brenda Hatfield and Loretta Brekke; and many more friends.
Aileen was preceded in death by her daughters, Janice and Patsy, who welcomed her home with open arms; her parents, brothers and sisters also welcomed her home. The family would like to give a heartfelt thank-you to the Medical Team Hospice and the staff at Mission Point of Holly for their tender and loving care.
She loved. Deeply. She was loved deeply. She will be missed by many.
