COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Community Foundation has announced that their #GivingTuesday Campaign was a huge success as they were able to surpass their $10,000 goal and raise $16,653.46.
The Community Foundation would like to thank the 112 donors who participated and everybody who supported the initiative.
They encouraged donations to over 20 different local Branch County and Colon area organizations as part of Giving Tuesday for the second year in a row.
In addition, the Colon Township Library was the organization which had the most participation as 45 donations were made totaling $3,336.59.
They will be receiving a $2,000 grant for operating expenses from the Forever Fund.
The second and third place organizations with the most donor participation were the Branch County United Way with 15 donations totaling $660.90, and Branch County Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence with 11 donations totaling $857.75.
