This precious mother and grandmother was born July 20, 1945 in Bronson, Michigan to Frank and Phyllis (Reynolds) Wheeler. She graduated from Bronson High School in 1963.
In 1965 she married Hans Geiger at St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church in Bronson. Sadly, he preceded her in death in 2020.
In 1971, Connie, Hans and a great group of men and women began a family-owned business, Geiger EDM. Connie performed accounting for the business, which continues to operate.
Connie devoted her life to her children. She was known for reaching out to friends and family for every special occasion. She made every event special for her family. Connie never hesitated to support others during challenging circumstances. She relished all the time spent with her grandchildren, Matthew AcMoody, Lydia AcMoody, Hansi Geiger, and Marcus Geiger. Connie especially enjoyed learning about her grandchildren’s livestock projects, soccer games, and other accomplishments.
Additionally, she enjoyed traveling, especially trips to the Florida Keys, Vegas, and northern Michigan.
Connie was a member of St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church in Bronson. She liked to shop, garden, make silk flower wreaths, which she often donated to fundraisers, and to spend time with her children. Her greatest achievement was her children and grandchildren.
Connie is survived by her daughter, Shelly Geiger (Andy) AcMoody; her son, Hans M. (Nora) Geiger; her grandchildren; and a brother, Don Wheeler.
In addition to her husband, Hans, Connie was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Carol Wheeler and niece Andrea Cranson.
