COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The annual Coldwater Christmas Parade is scheduled to take place Saturday night starting at 7:30 p.m..
This year’s theme is “Christmas Trees and Memories.” The Parade Grand Marshal will be Branch County Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence Executive Director Kim Hemker.
Organizers have announced there will be three awards this year. The best use of theme will win the Tree Topper Award. The judges will choose the All Trimmed Out Award while the most energetic and spirited entrant will receive the Christmas Morning Award.
The parade will cap off a full day of holiday activities in Coldwater.
The Branch District Library will host a scavenger hunt, crafts and a book giveaway while the Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce Shop Local Campaign will take place until 4:00 p.m..
Supper with Santa will be held at the Coach Eby Youth and Family Center from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m..
The Quincy Drama Society will present “The Alibis” at the Tibbits Opera House on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m..
Several businesses will stay open until the parade and special promotions will be offered.
