COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Legg Middle School boys basketball teams went 2-2 against Parma Western on Wednesday night.
The eighth grade A team rebounded after their first loss as they defeated Parma Western 45-41 and improved their record to 10-1. Gavin Taylor led a balanced Cardinal attack with 11 points while Austin Downs had nine points and Owen Tappenden had eight points.
The eighth grade B team lost 46-2. Michael Wright had nine rebounds.
Legg’s seventh grade A team improved to 10-1 with a 39-28 victory. Dracyn Foster led Legg with 15 points and five assists while Dayton Ennis had 11 points and five assists. Finn Hanson grabbed nine rebounds. Landon Dirschell had six steals and five assists. Manny Hernandez and Foster both had six steals.
Legg’s seventh grade B team lost 31-13. Austin Stepp and Drew VanDerPuyl both had four points for Legg while Evan Depew and Mason Sabaitis both had five rebounds.
