Joyce was born March 3, 1934 to Donald and Marjorie (Nash) Hinson in Coldwater. After graduation from Coldwater high school she started attending Adrian College. Joyce was a woman of faith and long-time member of First Baptist Church, actively involved in many capacities including the prison ministry. She was an avid gardener and a longtime member of the Coldwater Area Garden Club. She enjoyed spending time sewing, cross stitching, and writing. Joyce was a “Steward of Nature,” always mindful of what her choices made on the planet. She treated her yard as her sanctuary. Joyce will be remembered for being a devoted woman who was always striving to teach and follow the rules. She was very strong in her convictions, and will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
