Garry Lee Finney, 68, of Union City passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Union City at a later date. The family is being served by Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation in Union City.
Garry was born January 7, 1953 to Clifford and Doris (Nelson) Finney in Coldwater. He graduated from Union City High School with the Class of 1971. February 26, 1972 he married the former Ruth Lawrence at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Union City.
Garry worked at Trinity Shoring in Union City as a welder. He enjoyed whatever he got involved doing, but especially going camping, fishing for bass, attending church, driving up and down the road in his golf cart with his dog, Lucy, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Ruth Finney of Union City; children, Elizabeth (Garry) Sigourney of Union City, Timothy Finney of Battle Creek and Kelly (Joey) Isabel of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, James Couey, Caleb Sigourney, Ashley Sigourney, Tessa McClure and Easton Isabel; his sister, Lorraine Mack of LaGrange, IN; special nephews, Brian (Ashley) Mack and Shane (Sue) Finney; and several other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Larry and Duane Finney.
