COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – It was a record breaking night as the Coldwater Polar Bear Middle school swim team swept Battle Creek Central Middle School Wednesday night by scores of 81-41 in the girls meet and 55-33 in the boys meet.
Sienna Losinski qualified for the Middle School state meet and broke the team record in the 50 Freestyle. The relay team of Brennen King, Cooper Otto, Luke Marteen and Taylor Eberts qualified for state and broke the team record in the 200 Freestyle relay.
Sidney Aseltine broke the team record in the 50 butterfly. Taylor Eberts broke the team record in the 200 Freestyle. The relay team of Sidney Aseltine, Carly Krzyzanski, Korrin Brown and Sienna Losinski broke the team record in the 200 Freestyle relay.
The relay team of Sienna Losinski, Ava Motes, Elizabeth Vogler, and Carly Krzyzanski broke the 400 FreeSTYLE relay team record.
The Polar Bears won all 20 events swam in which is a team record as well. They swim again next Wednesday when they travel to Harper Creek.
