MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – The Cardinal Bowling teams had a big night on Tuesday as they swept the Marshall Red Hawks.
The Varsity Boys won 27 to 3, scoring season high regular games of 977 and 1033 for a total of 2010 against Marshall’s scores of 936 and 776, total of 1713. Coldwater won both Baker games 174 to 164 and 179 to 177, for totals of 353 to 341.
The boys were led by Senior Andon Parshall with games of 216 and 247, Vinnie Beekman with a 224, Ryan Sturgeon a 216, Chase Rubley a 202 and Chance Cook a 198.
The Varsity Girls rolled to a 20 to 10 win, taking game one 754 to 702, dropping game two 749 to 801. They won both Baker games 171 to 158 and 157 to 114.
The Coldwater Girls were led by Lily Cook with a 176 and Violet Waltke with a 175.
The JV boys won 24 1/2 to 5 1/2 taking game one 810 to 556, game two 711 to 622. They split the Baker games, losing game one 124 to 169, winning game two 177 to 128.
The boys were led by Cameron Shuler with a 215, Kristian Yearling with a 207 and Lennon Swick with a 190.
The JV Girls won their match 20 to 10, winning their regular games 550 to 506 and 561 to 405. They split the Baker games losing game one 101 to 134, winning game two 94 to 72.
The JV girls were led by Alexis Wood with a 157, Ashlyn Caswell with a 137 and Madison Shuler with a 129.
Coldwater will travel to Jax 60 on Thursday to face Parma Western.
