UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings jumped out to a 13-0 lead as they defeated the Union City Chargers 72-45 in a Big 8 Conference game at Union City McNett Fieldhouse.
With the win, the Vikings ended Union City’s five game winning streak.
Reagan Mayer led three Bronson players in double figures with a game-high 24 points.
Tanner Norton added 14 points while Aden Hathaway had 11 points for the Vikings.
Kyle Johnson led Union City with 13 points while Terrance Morgan Junior had 10 points.
Bronson is now 3-4 overall and 1-2 in the Big Eight. Union City drops to 5-2 overall and 2-1 in the conference.
Elsewhere in the Big Eight Conference, Jonesville used a 18-2 third quarter to defeat the Quincy Orioles 59-24 at the Coolest Gym in Michigan on Tuesday night.
The Orioles drop to 1-3 overall and 0-2 in the Big Eight.
