JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Bowling Teams rolled to a sweep Thursday afternoon as they defeated Parma Western in an Interstate 8 meet at Jax 60 lanes in Jackson.
The Coldwater Boys Varsity defeated Parma 23 to 7. Coldwater took both regular games 801 to 744 and 864 to 666, taking totals 1665 to 1410. They split the Baker games, winning game one 176 to 172, losing the second game 178 to 149, losing totals 350 to 325. Coldwater boys were led by Austin Johnson with a 189 and Andon Parshall with a 189.
The Varsity girls won 30 to 0, taking both regular games 769 to 492 and 826 to 567, taking totals 1595 to 1059. They also took both Baker games 155 to 127 and 162 to 85, taking totals 317 to 212. Coldwater was led by Dezirae Kling with a 186, Ema Shidler, Violet Waltke and Lily Cook each rolled a 176 game.
The JV’s bowled a split squad and won 20 to 10. Winning both regular games 588 to 575 and 648 to 538, taking totals 1234 to 1112. They split the Baker games, losing game one 85 to 135, winning the second game 149 to 134, losing totals 269 to 234. The girls were led by Gracie Vaughn with a 127 game. The boys were led by Cameron Shuler with a 178 game.
