JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Bowlers earned a split with Jackson Northwest at Jax 60 Lanes on Tuesday.
The Girls Varsity team defeated the Lady Mounties 29-1. Coldwater won both regular games 839 to 533 and 782 to 611, taking totals 1621 to 1144, they also took both Baker games 131 to 102 and 140 to 102, taking totals 271 to 204. Coldwater was led by Violet Waltke with a 237, Dakota Allen a 191 and Lily Cook a 180.
The Boys Varsity team lost 28-2. Coldwater was beaten in the regular games 804 to 963 and 735 to 944, losing totals 1544 to 1907. They also lost both Baker games 176 to 193 and 141 to 209, losing totals 317 to 402. Ryan Sturgeon had Coldwater’s high game of 180.
The JV teams bowled a split squad meet losing 22-8.
The Cardinals will hit the lanes Wednesday at Pennfield’s M-66 lanes facing the Pennfield Panthers.
