BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Due to the cold weather, the City of Bronson has issued a “Run Water Advisory” until January 30.
They are asking its city water customers to run a small stream of water from one water faucet in their home or business about a quarter inch in diameter or the size of a pencil.
It’s suggested the bathtub would be a good place to do this as it is less likely to be turned off.
City Manager Brandon Mersman says the weather forecast is calling for an extended cold spell during the next week and that running a small stream of water is intended to help prevent the water service from freezing.
Billing adjustments will be made on a case by case basis and will be based on previous water usage history.
If you have any questions, call the Bronson City Office during normal business hours 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at (517) 369-7334.
