COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Women Who Care of Branch County announced on Tuesday that they voted during their November meeting to give funds from the meeting to the Branch Area Food Pantry.
The amount donated at the one-hour meeting was $8,400 putting the group at a total donation to the community of over $281,900.
Renate Brenneke was the member who nominated the organization for the donation.
Women Who Care of Branch County meet four times a year to donate funds to local non-profit agencies to help them streamline their fund raising efforts.
Meetings occur once per quarter at ProMedica Coldwater Cancer Center.
