COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners agreed to a request from County Administrator Bud Norman Tuesday to start the second work session of each month at 12 noon.
Norman made the request last week saying some scheduled work sessions were conflicting with the Workforce Development meetings.
The Standing Board Rules will have to be amended to reflect the change which would take effect next month.
The first work session of the month would still start at 9:00 a.m.
The work sessions are scheduled to take place on the Thursday before a regular Tuesday meeting. They are held to set the agenda for the next regular meeting.
Formal action takes place during regular meetings which are held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 4:30 p.m.
