QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Village Council is scheduled to take action during a special meeting Tuesday night on an employment contract with Village Manager Brittany Butler.
The one year contract would expire on January 31, 2023.
It calls for Butler to receive a salary of $66,000.
Terms of the contract include evaluations of Butler’s performance as Village Manager at or around the three, six and 12 month anniversary dates of the contract.
Unless she expressly requests in writing to the Village Council, the evaluations would be conducted in executive sessions and shall be considered confidential to the extent permitted by law.
Her current contract expires on Monday. Butler became the Quincy Village Manager about two years ago. An evaluation of her performance during that time is also on Tuesday’s agenda.
She took over after longtime Village Manager Eric Zuzga accepted a position with the City of Marshall.
