COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – With a major winter storm expected to move in during the overnight hours, the City of Coldwater is asking residents to help plow crews out as they try to clear city streets.
Officials remind everyone that street parking is prohibited from 2:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. to help with snow removal.
If possible, please refrain from parking on the street at other times over the next couple of days; this will allow snow plows to move quickly and efficiently.
Help keep fire hydrants clear of snow. This greatly improves the Fire Department’s response in the event of a fire.
Keep sidewalks clear of snow and ice. This ensures a safe environment for those walking around town.
Give plow drivers plenty of room. They take wide turns and the snow can make it difficult to see vehicles behind and around them.
