QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Village Council approved a one year employment contract with Village Manager Brittany Butler during a special meeting on Tuesday night.
The one year contract would expire on January 31, 2023 and calls for Butler to receive a salary of $66,000.
The Council made one tweak to the contract as they decided to hold a yearly evaluation of Butler’s performance as Village Manager instead of at the three, six and 12 month anniversary dates of the contract.
Butler became the Quincy Village Manager about two years ago.
In other business, the Council approved the purchase of a new 2022 Ford utility all wheel drive vehicle for the Police Department at a cost of over $36,000.
It would replace the K-9 vehicle which was totaled in a crash last November. Insurance money from the crash will pay for the new vehicle.
