BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Branch County School administrators have decided to give students a second straight snow day on Thursday due to the winter storm.
All Branch County school districts will be shut down on Thursday. Snowfall totals ranged from six to nine inches on Wednesday evening. There was a report of 10 inches of snow in Hillsdale.
Blowing and drifting snow is expected Thursday with winds gusting as high as 30 mph.
Travel is expected to be difficult into Thursday evening.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
