COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Organizers for the 23rd annual St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School Mardi Gras Auction say they ended up grossing over $90,000 from the last weekend’s event.
The annual auction raised money thanks to its many raffles, dinner tickets, silent auction, and live auction.
Over 250 individuals participated in the silent auction, which used an online website that helped increase the total revenue brought in.
Over 6,000 bids were submitted online from around the country.
The top three live auction packages were Mr. Smith’s Briefcase, Father’s Wallet, and a Fine Dining package that was donated by the Knights of Columbus Council #2900. Those three packages raised almost $7,000 collectively.
Organizers want to thank all of the sponsors, donors, volunteers, and participants for continuing a strong tradition of support for St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School.
