UNDATED (WTVB) – As the season heads into the home stretch, three boys basketball teams from the Interstate 8 Conference received votes in this week’s Michigan Associated Press high school basketball poll.
The Coldwater Cardinals earned an honorable mention after receiving two votes in the Division One poll which is led by Detroit Martin Luther King. Marshall is ranked seventh in Division Two while Battle Creek Pennfield got an honorable mention with six votes.
Undefeated Williamston tops the Division Two poll. Flint Beecher is first in Division Three. Schoolcraft is rated seventh while Vandercook Lake and Centreville earned honorable mentions.
Southfield Christian leads the Division Four poll while Colon earned an honorable mention.
Parma Western is rated fifth in Division One in this week’s Michigan Associated Press girls high school basketball poll. Hudsonville and West Bloomfield are tied for first. Battle Creek Lakeview got an honorable mention.
Frankenmuth tops the Division Two poll. Ypsilanti Arbor Preparatory is the number one team in Division Three with Jonesville getting an honorable mention.
Portland St. Patrick leads the Division Four poll with Athens ranked fifth. Mendon, Colon and Pittsford all earned honorable mentions.
