HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – After getting a bye into the finals, Quincy lost to Hillsdale 45-21 on Wednesday in the M.H.S.A.A. Division Three team wrestling district in Hillsdale.
Quincy got their points on a pin by Jacob Reif, a decision by Michael Daniels and two voids.
The host Hornets advanced to the finals by edging county rival Jonesville 39-37.
Quincy will compete in the Division Three individual district meet on Saturday at Adrian Madison.
The other Branch County wrestling teams will compete in team district meets on Thursday as the M.H.S.A.A. state wrestling tournament gets underway.
Coldwater will be at the Division 2 District hosted by Harper Creek. In the Division Four districts, Bronson will be at Reading, Union City will travel to Mendon and Tekonsha will be at Springport.
