Gertrude “Ann” Miller, 73, of Coldwater passed away Friday, February 11, 2022 at the Laurels of Coldwater.
A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Herb Strickland of the New Beginning Church of Montgomery officiating.
The family will receive guests for visitation prior to the service Tuesday beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Gertrude was born March 23, 1948, the daughter of Richard and Edna (Harold) Fageroos in Coldwater. Gertrude was a proud 1991 Coldwater High School graduate, as she went back to school later in life to finish her diploma.
March 15, 1972 she married Phillip Miller who preceded her in death on December 23, 2015. She enjoyed traveling with Phillip on their Harley Tri-Glide. Ann was a talented drawer with beautiful penmanship. She was known for always keeping her house spotless.
Ann’s true joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her big heart, loving and giving spirit who wanted to help anyone in need.
Gertrude leaves behind her children Robert (Shelley) Weers of Baldwin, Jennifer Miller, Phillip (Desiree) Miller II both of Coldwater; her siblings Linda Ferrier, Richard Fageroos both of Crosby, MN; sister-in-law Frances Zimmerman of Akron, OH; grandchildren Damon & Shelby Holderness, Corey & Zachary Weers, Anthony McClish, Mercede Miller, Jocinda & Bethany Clark, and Adam Herman; great grandchildren Angel & Nevaeh Miller, Gracelyn & Zackary Platshorre, Westley Bryant, Dawson Reit, Delilah Miller, Payton & Gunner MacDonald, and Riley Morgan Gibbs; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband Phillip, she was preceded in death by her parents; grandson Scott McClish; and her brothers Henry Fageroos and Marvin Zimmerman.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
