COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Results of a recent survey concerning downtown Coldwater will be presented next Wednesday evening, February 23, in partnership with the National Main Street Program.
The two hour meeting is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m.. You can view the presentation live on the City’s You Tube channel.
Not only will the results of the survey will be shared, new community signage will be displayed and transformation strategies for the downtown will be unveiled.
The Downtown Development Authority will meet the following morning at 8:00 a.m. to begin putting the strategies into action.
The D.D.A. was hoping to get feedback from the community survey. The survey consists of questions such as “What three business types would you like to see more of in Downtown Coldwater?”.
It was conducted as part of the Michigan Main Street Select Level Program.
D.D.A. Board Chair Brad Rockey said recently, “The community survey is a key piece in developing transformation strategies for the downtown. Understanding what our community wants to see and what our local market can support will ensure that these strategies are practical and wanted. Over time, our goal is to help develop a downtown that better serves area residents, business owners, families, volunteers, students, pedestrians, and visitors. Seeking feedback from these key groups is critical to helping make that happen.”
