HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – Hillsdale Hospital has announced the introduction of Dr. John Anderson to its medical staff and the team of providers at Hillsdale Orthopedics.
Anderson is a Michigan native. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Michigan. He began working as a physical therapist and continued to do
so while also attending medical school at U of M.
Upon graduation, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago.
After that, he immediately began an orthopedic surgery and sports medicine fellowship at Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center.
Anderson spent more than 25 years working at Michigan SportsMedicine and Orthopedic Center in Ypsilanti and most recently worked at Livingston Orthopedics in Brighton.
Anderson joins the Hillsdale Orthopedics practice with Dr. Parthiv Patel, and advanced practice providers Alyssa Hartley, Woody Holder, Ken Rubin and Nicole Salloum. In affiliation with University of Toledo Orthopaedics, Dr. Maged Hanna, Dr. Osama Elattar, Dr. Vithal Shendge and Dr. Christopher Sanford provide support for the practice as well.
