BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Two members of the Coldwater girls bowling squad punched their tickets to the M.H.S.A.A Division Two singles tournament in Canton following Regional action Saturday.
Violet Waltke was second with a six game total of 1233 and Emalyn Shidler finished fourth with a six game total of 1120.
The top ten finishers at the Regional Tournament move onto the M.H.S.A.A. Finals. The Coldwater girls squad will compete in the Team Finals on Friday.
Quincy’s Jenica Kaser took eighth place at the Division Three Regionals in Niles to qualify for the girls state finals. She shot a 222 in her sixth game to finish with a 1051 total.
Bronson sent four bowlers onto the Division Four singles tournament at Battle Creek’s M-66 Bowl after both teams advanced out of the Regionals.
Shaun McAfee finished third for the boys with a six game score of 1140.
Hadassah Bloom win the girls regional championship with a six game score of 1070. She had a high game of 227. Idalia Hernandez was fourth with a score of 1027. Morgan McConn was eighth with a score of 966.
