Brenda Kay Dillon, 54, of Coldwater passed away Monday, February 28, 2022 at Momentous Health in Battle Creek due to long-term health reasons.
A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Harold Jewell of the Oasis of Love Family Church officiating.
Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Brenda was born May 13, 1967 to Kenneth and Sandra (Peltier) Dillon in Coldwater. She was a 1985 Coldwater High School graduate. Brenda worked for many years as the Manager of the Coldwater Speedway Station, before health issues made her retire early.
She had many interests including swimming, riding her motorbike, and playing games especially zonk and rummy. Brenda was an avid Bon Jovi & Kiss music fan. She always had time for a Mt. Dew or Tim Horton’s coffee with family or friends. Brenda will be remembered for her loving, caring, and spontaneous spirit. She was always quick with a joke and outgoing with those she met.
Brenda is survived by her children Kelsey Brouse, Chanda (Bill Jr.) Cates, Brandon Cowell, and Jaydon Cowell all of Coldwater; her sisters Debbie (Roy) Fisk of Coldwater and Cindy Dillon of Three Rivers; her grandchildren HaliAnn Brouse, LeeAnn Bonds, Xavier Brouse, Alex Cates, and Skylar Cates; her uncle Raymond Peltier; her best friends William Crick & Keith Mundy; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her niece Leah Wilson.
