COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Sheriff’s Department may have to play a waiting game on two new boats that have been ordered for the Marine Patrol.
Sheriff John Pollack told the Board of Commissioners during their work session last Thursday it maybe awhile before they are delivered.
But on the positive side, new vehicles for the Sheriff’s Department road patrol are ready to roll.
New tactical gear has arrived and Pollack says training will start soon.
Pollack also reported that one of the department’s new road deputies who they paid to send to the academy has given his notice after accepting a position with a larger department in Calhoun County that paid higher wages.
