COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch Intermediate School District Board of Education approved a request Wednesday to give Early Education staff members a one-time $1,500 “COVID Bonus” from American Rescue Plan funds.
The request came from Assistant Superintendent of Early Childhood Education Cynthia Rowe.
She says the employees would receive the checks next month.
Rowe said there would be other uses for the A.R.P. money.
Superintendent Kris Jenkins said their most important asset was their people and that the Early Education employees deserved the bonus.
