COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – For the first time since 2019, the Branch County Republican Party will be able to gather for their annual Lincoln Day Dinner on Tuesday, April 5 at the Dearth Community Center in Coldwater.
The event was cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the past there had been a keynote speaker but Branch County Republican Party Chair Chancelir Murdock said that will change this year.
Tickets for the dinner are available at www.branchgop.com.
It will be held as Michigan Republicans get ready for their state convention in Grand Rapids. After being held in the past during August, Murdock says the State GOP has moved the date to April 23.
Branch County Republicans will hold a county convention on April 11 to select delegates to go to the state convention.
